You'll need the following items to complete your application:

Enrichment Courses

College-Credit Courses

*While April 1st is our application deadline, the application may remain open to programs that aren't at capacity.

International Applicant Requirements

Please note all programs are taught in English, without the benefit of an interpreter. The student’s personal statement will determine English Proficiency.

Enrichment Courses:

Any international applicant wishing to participate in one of Tulane Summer Enrichment Programs should secure their own visa and passport documents. Typically, program participants attend our programs under a Visitor Visa. Please note that the enrichment programs are part-time, recreational in nature and do not provide academic credit. We do not require TOEFL/IELTS scores or a Certification of Finances to attend Enrichment courses.

College Credit Courses:

Any international applicant applying from abroad who does not already have U.S. immigration status will need to secure an F-1 visa in order to attend the program. After Admission, Tulane’s Office of International Students and Scholars will create an I-20 immigration document, which is mailed to the student. A complete description of the F-1 visa process is available here. While we do not require TOEFL/IELTS scores, a Certification of Finances is required to process the F-1 Visa.

Admission and Enrollment

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis, with consideration given to space available in a particular program. Applicants are encouraged to apply on or before April 1st.

Applicants will begin to receive notiication of our admission decision starting in February. If admitted, you'll need to submit a deposit within 14 days of receiving your admission notification to secure your enrollment. The amount of your deposit will be indicated in your Green Wave portal.

Full payment of program costs for all students must be received by May 31st, 2019 via your Green Wave portal for enrollment in any of our Pre-College summer programs.

Should a course be cancelled due to low enrollment numbers or other conditions, notification will be provided as early as possible and students will be offered another program option or a refund.
