High School Students

Every summer, Tulane welcomes visiting high school students from around the world to campus. We offer college credit classes from Anthropology to Photography as well as non-credit programs to help you explore different interests. Get ahead this summer while studying in classes with undergraduate students from around the country and the world.

High School students may enroll in Summer School and take up to two summer classes if they meet the following admission criteria:

  • GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Minimum score on SAT of 1200, or ACT of 25, or PSAT of 64 (2 parts) or 94 (3 parts), or PLAN of 24
  • Letter of recommendation from their high school counselor
  • Complete a Summer School application and an Application for Concurrent Enrollment

Applications and admission criteria for specialized programs for 9th – 12th graders, including Careers in Architecture, Tulane Science Scholars and Newcomb College Institute are available on the appropriate program.

Contact the Summer School office with questions about admission criteria, course selection or how to apply.
